We use the rower for general fitness. The machine took less than an hour to assemble. It is quiet and smoooth and is a good value. We only have tow complaints: (1) The display is blocked by the strap when you row and (2) The velcro straps that hold your feet loosen as you row. As a result I have to stopo every few minutes to tighten them.

This is a great way to start getting back into shape. I workout either by watching TV or listening to music while I'm working out. It's so quiet I don't need to boost the volume up on the TV or the Stereo.

Very nice rower. It is quiet and easy to jump to different levels of resistance. I am currently using this for interval training and I like the features of time, calories and distance traveled so I can gage my progress and know when to push myself more. Easy to store once i'm done with my workout.
